You are required to create and manage a Wolters Kluwer Account in order to access and use several of our applications and services. The Wolters Kluwer Account is personal to you and non-transferable. You may register your account as part of an existing organization that already utilizes our products and services or set up a new organization as part of your registration process.

By accessing and using this website, and by registering for and using a Wolters Kluwer Account, you accept the following Terms of Use (“TOU”), without limitation or qualification.

For the purposes of these TOU:

  • Wolters Kluwer (including its affiliates and/or subsidiaries) may be referred to as “we”, “us”, “you”, “your” or similar terms;
  • Individual users may be referred to as “you”, “your” or similar terms;
  • Business entities whose users access and use our application and services may be referred to as “organizations” irrespective of their specific legal form (e.g. partnership, limited liability company etc.).

AUTHORIZED USERS

The Wolters Kluwer Account is available only to our new and existing customers, and their clients. Any other entity or individual may not register for or use the Wolters Kluwer Account, unless expressly authorized in writing by Us.


ACCESS THROUGH THIRD PARTY SSO LOGINS

You may be able to access your Wolters Kluwer Account, and subsequently some of our applications and services, by logging-in through a single-sign on (SSO) offered by third parties such as Microsoft, Google or your banking institution. Your use of any third-party login services is entirely at your own risk and We shall have no liability and/or responsibility related thereto.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for:

  • providing true, accurate and complete information when registering for a Wolters Kluwer Account;
  • keeping all registration and contact information up to date, including with a current email address;
  • protecting your Wolters Kluwer Account username and passwords, and any third party SSO login details you use to access the Wolters Kluwer Account, from being lost, stolen or misused;
  • not allowing anyone else from accessing or using your Wolters Kluwer Account; and
  • using the Wolters Kluwer Account only for legal and legitimate purposes connected with our products and services.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your login details or Wolters Kluwer Account, and to take immediate steps to change your password to prevent further unauthorized use.


ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATION

Each organization is entirely responsible for the internal management of its own account and for the action of all of its users. In certain cases, an organization may be able to appoint certain users as “Administrators” who will be granted control rights over access and use of our services by other users of their organization. These rights might include creating, deleting, monitoring or modifying users and/or designating user permissions from time to time; and managing access to data from the organization’s users and clients. Organizations are entirely responsible for obtaining all required consents from users in order to allow Administrators to have such access and control rights over other user accounts connected to the organization.


AMENDMENTS TO THE WOLTERS KLUWER ACCOUNT AND TOU

We may, in our sole and absolute discretion and without any liability, modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of this website or the Wolters Kluwer Account. We may also modify these TOU at any time without notice to you. Amendments to the TOU will be effective immediately upon uploading a new version of the TOU online. Therefore, you are advised to review any new version of the TOU The current version of the TOU can be viewed by clicking on the “Terms of Use” hypertext link located at the bottom of the Wolters Kluwer Account websites. By continuing to use this website and the Wolters Kluwer Account after amendments have been made to the TOU, you accept all of the amendments made to the TOU.

If a user is not ordinarily a resident in any of the countries below, these TOU will be governed by the laws of the Netherlands and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these TOU will be exclusively settled by the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
